What does the typical mime artist look like? A typical mime artist would dress in black and white stripped t-shirt/ long sleeved shirt, with plain black trousers, black shoes, with an optional black bowler hat or beret, and a pair of black suspenders as for make-up, a mime will reflect emotion with in their make-up choice.
This is important in acting because it allows the audience to understand the emotions portrayed by the artist and it sets the atmosphere and mood of the performance.
